BW-320 plunger mud pump, a multi-purpose horizontal triplex single acting reciprocating piston pump, is designed with eight flow rates by using two cylinders and four gear transmissions. lt can, on the one hand, satisfy needs of an extensive range of new drilling applications, including 1000-meter hydraulic impact drilling, 1500-meter screw drilling, 2500-meter common core drilling, and so on; on the other hand, it can also be utilized to grouting for all kinds of soft foundation, engineering construction drilling, well drilling, alpine water supply, mine drainage, dike grouting, etc.

During the drilling process, this drilling mud pump supplies the drilling hole with sufficient fluid and makes it circulate in the hole in order to carry the debris to the earth surface. In this way, the piston pump reliably keep the bottom of the hole clean, protect the wall of hole from collapse as well as cool and lubricate drilling bits and drilling tools.

The flushing fluid utilized by this plunger mud pump shall not contain any chemical impurities that are corrosive to metals and rubber parts. When using mud for flushing, the recommended proportion of water and mud is between 1.03 and 1.12, viscosity of mud between 18 and 25S, silt content lower than 4%, diameter of sand particles not exceed 3mm, and PH value around 7 to 8. No tiny mud balls, weeds, leaves and other impurities are allowed in the mud.
